I am never disappointed when I go to Silver Skewers. This Persian Restaurant isn’t the easiest find on Old Washington Road but it sure delivers on the taste of the kabobs and Persian tea. I shared the shrimp, chicken and rib eye kabob and asked for a second helping of rice so we could share. They served hot bread too with different sauces too. All simply delicious
So so so so good💛 You can tell that everything is made with love 💛 As a fellow business owner in the area it’s perfect for lunch meetings. The atmosphere is warm welcoming and immaculate. Definitely a neighborhood hidden gem.
This is my favorite restaurant in Waldorf! The food is always fresh and the service is welcoming! The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing.
Why did we wait so long?!!?!! It's probably been close to 20 years since I have been here and I cannot for the life of me figure out why it's taken so long to come back! The food speaks for itself, flavorful and delicious! Meats were tender and veggies still had a crisp, everything beautifully cooked. This was the exact type of meal we love to have! We won't let so much time pass before we come back!

ALWAYS a wonderful, fresh, homemade, big, delectable Persian meal. The grilled veggies alone are worth the trip! If you love fresh and delicious salmon, lamb that's NOT MINCED, moist chicken, filet/ribeye, saffron rice, homemade tandoori and yogurt sauce......etc.. The owner/ chef is one of the sweetest and most accommodating women ever. I defy you to have a bad experience. Not possible! Enjoy! Top notch everything!
Dec 19 2025, ordered beef tenderloin skewer dinner, grilled veggies, rice, had bread with 2 sauces and butter, Persian iced tea, all was delicious! I have heard of this place, never visited until now. Will definitely return.
We loved the food, the decor, and the staff. Staff was very knowledgeable on their selections, you have to try the Persian iced tea, 9 out of 10. I have the house special, the meat was melt in your mouth tender. Honestly, definitely going back!
So THIS place right here has the most special place in my ❤️ heart. I discovered this magical 🪄✨ hidden gem 💎💎 tucked away in the tail of Waldorf almost 26 YEARS ago!!I was freshly enthralled with my own culinary career at the time and was so impressed with the food 🥑 it quickly became my Favorite place to eat of ALL time! I have also lived everywhere up and down the east coast in the past 26 years but have NEVER been able to find a restaurant like this anywhere! Not even in NYC. I have been coming here since way before my son was born and he is now 15! The food is the most consistent delicious 🤤 mouth 👄 watering awesomeness THAT can be done 👍. Once you try their food, you will CRAVE it forever. And you are screwed up when you have to move out of state. It's SINFULLY Good. I also Love the family that runs THIS place....after 26 years of eating here, they are like family. We have watched our families grow up and get bigger together.... LOVE 💕❤️😘
I have been coming to the silver skewers with family since I was a little girl. Now I’m grown and it is still the same delicious and consistent food every time. It is about an hour away from me but worth the drive to eat some authentic Persian food packed with flavor. The owner is very friendly and sweet, she will always make you feel welcomed and make sure you leave satisfied. The atmosphere is always quiet and laid back. I suggest the house kabob, it’s always been a favorite. Can’t wait to keep coming back for years to come.
